Bryan Fleming is the Founder and Chief Executive of FJ Philanthropy Ltd, a boutique firm which offers a full-service bespoke consultancy to myriad charitable organisations in UK and international research, education, health, religion, welfare and arts sectors.
Building on career foundations in international business development and formerly as a research scientist, Bryan has amassed a decade of contemporary fundraising experience in senior fundraising leadership roles at Durham University (a World Top 100 University); as Director of Campaigns at Dundee University, and with FJ Philanthropy, serving a wide range of clients including universities, theatres, think tanks, and a variety of third sector organisations. Consultancy assignments have ranged from strategic and operational review and capacity building to interim leadership support and delivery, gaining the confidence of leading philanthropists, influencers and industry leaders.
In addition, Bryan is Trustee of a Queen’s Award-winning charity, Absafe, holds full Membership of the Institute of Fundraising, and is a member of the Institute of Directors. Bryan is also a graduate of the Common Purpose senior leaders programme.
