"Without Bryan’s support I could never have founded ADAD (the Association of Durham Alumni in Dorset). ADAD works to enthuse able students from every school in Dorset to apply to Durham University, using money donated by Durham alumni to fund 3-day bespoke visits to the university campus and colleges. Since our inception we have raised the profile of Durham in Dorset and markedly increased the number of applications from, and offers granted to, Dorset-based pupils. Bryan’s help was invaluable in getting this venture off the ground. He worked assiduously to bring all sides on board, and with his help ADAD has developed a vibrant network of relationships between state and independent schools in Dorset and Durham University. Bryan was crucial to our success and I thank him for it."
